This was the first place I stayed when I moved to Phoenix. The post card is from October 1961 I believe. The Rainbow Motel is on Grand Avenue near Thomas and at the time was run by a fashionable lady named Claudia. I remember that I stayed in unit #1. The inside reminde me of Art Deco out of Miami. Not so much is left of the Rainbow anymore ...too bad soo sad... I enjoyed my stay there and met some very exceptional folks. Take Care oldguy85308
